Window Shopping: Dining Room Set

We need a rectangular 4-seater dining room set.

^ I saw this at Market, Market dept. store furniture section. I fell in love with this instantly. I love the colors. A combi of red and black.. Lovely! They're currently on 50% sale from Php28,599. Now it's only Php14,299.

and here's the full black of it...
My initial choice.. saw one in uniwide for only Php5,200

^ found this on the net. Love it.. I'm looking for one like this except that it should be a 4-seater.Php14000
^ Also this one.. simple but elegant looking dining set.

^ found this at furnituremanila.com/ stephanietrading. I like it. Though I am yet to inquire for the price

^ this too, i like it. I guess squared table can also fit in our dining room. Price: Php11,000
... of nemiefurniture folded dining table 4-seater Php15000
folded view... perfect for small condos like ours

I'm open for some dining sets recommendations. Thank you.

Window Shopping: Bed

When shopping for furnitures, there are only three things that i should always remember. It should be, 1) in a good quality 2) affordable (or cheap i should say) and lastly 3) space-saver. As i always say, we only have a small space and we're looking for things that is appropriate for our unit. Space-saving is on our top list when shopping.

We only need a double size bed to fit in our Bedroom.

My first choice of bed is to have a bed frame with drawers. Either on the side...

or on front

^ Saw this at Home Market in Market Market. I love it. And the price? Php16,995. That's for the bed frame alone, mattress not included yet.

As i go around, i asked for the price of customized-bed frame and they quoted me Php15,000. The lowest price they can give. I'm still in deep thought for this.

^ this is a double size bed with pull-outs which only costs Php9,641 at Blims Furniture. They're on sale. It's my second choice. Although I'm not sure if how we're able to fit the pull-outs in our bedroom :)
found this on sulit/ multiply..(nemiefurniture)  this is the one im looking for.. Price: Php8000. Not bad.
(nemiefurniture) 48" x 75" PhP 4,500.00
                       54" x 75" PhP 4,800.00
                       60" x 75" PhP 5,000.00

If you know any furniture shops that sells or customize beds in a very reasonable price, (Metro Manila only) please feel free to recommend. I would really appreciate that. Thank you

Our Bare Condo Unit

Well as you know, our unit had just been turned-over to us. It's kinda small but at least it's something that we can call OUR's. Someday, we'll also gonna invest in a much bigger space :) For now, we'll still have to enjoy our first big investment.- our own unit. It's totally bare aside from the kitchen sink with faucet and kitchen cabinets; and a bathroom with toilet bowl, bathroom sink and shower. That's only it. I'm thinking of doing the interior myself. I am no interior design professional but let's see what i can do. After all, it's OUR home and i can do whatever i want to do with it. (of course with hubby's permission :) I'm so excited for the outcome. For now, we're still working on furnishing it little by little until we completely got our needs. I'm doing some window shopping here and there. Hope i'll find what's worthy of our unit's space.

main door-entrance
living room
living room and kitchen view from bedroom
kitchen
kitchen cabinets
kitchen sink and cabinets
bedroom
storage room and bedroom window
bathroom sink
shower
As you see, we only have a small unit for a family of 4. But we love our simple corner. So as much as possible we're looking for home furniture that is in good quality, affordable and most of all,  space-saver.

I'm open for any budget-friendly furniture shop recommendations around Metro Manila only. Thank you.

Window Shopping: Wardrobe Cabinet

I'm currently on a canvass with home furniture to fill our bare unit. We really want to compare the prices between  furniture shops/depot nearby. Let's see how their prices differ from each other. We don't want to have any regrets in the future that we have to hurry on buying then later on find a much cheaper item with only same quality. We don't want that to happen. That's why, canvassing is a must for us before buying.

Since we got a very small-spaced unit, we're looking for a furniture that is space saver, affordable (cheaper i may say), and with quality of course.

For a wardrobe cabinet;
I am looking for a wardrobe cabinet kinda similar to this. Wide and with sliding doors. Which got more space for our wardrobe and even for our shoes etc. I have visited several furniture shops already but i didn't found something like this one yet. And i know if i prefer customized, am pretty sure it'll cost expensively as expected.

As for this one, i was quoted Php 25,000 just for this customized-sliding wardrobe cabinet. This is the cabinet from one of Chateau's model unit. I like it but it's way over our budget because it's too pricey. We're saying pass for this one.

There are also lots of wardrobe cabinet available in leading malls in the country that is ready-made

As for this 4-doors ready-made cabinet.. it costs Php10,500. Check out more of this at ebay.ph

For this 4-doors cabinet at Sulit.com.ph.  A laminated wood material. It costs... Php8,500

Official Resident of Chateau Elysee

It was Dec.of 2009, I was still pregnant and 8 mos along with our second child, princess Keilah, when hubby told me he's gonna buy his friend's second hand car, Trooper (isuzu)  in particular. He already had a mitsubishi Lancer but his eldest sister are the one who usually used it for work. Now it looks really old and very much wasted. Poor Lancer. So i guess that's what made hubby buy a newer one.

But instead of agreeing, i just suggested why not we look for a house (we've been residing together with his parents for 6years already) so a home of our own is what i really wish for. I want to live in a home where there is only one king, queen, prince and princess. So upon suggesting i browsed the net and found this very affordable yet classy low-rise condominium located near where we're residing now. We texted and called the broker, had a little conversation about the info and the estimated monthly amortization. Hubby's impressed oh so did i.

So without further ado, 3 days after Christmas (2009) we went to the viewing site of Chateau Elysee located near SM Bicutan. A 15-20mins ride from our current location (depends on the traffic). After discussing all the info needed and computing the monthly amortization (i can say that they have a flexible terms) we settle the reservation fee of Php25000.

Here's a little info for Chateau Elysee if you're not familiar yet.

Auspicious Move-In Dates for 2011

Our official move-in will probably be on Dec or Jan 2012 so hubby will be here already. But for the meantime, we'll be moving in new furnitures and other essentials little by little so we don't have to rush things out upon our official moving in. I guess by then, we'll do the house blessing and house warming as well.

I found this on the net. You can also check it our if you too are planning to move-in.

Got The Keys

Finally, this is it. I just got the keys to our unit. I'm so happy and at the same time excited. We're now an Official resident of Chateau Elysee. Yipee!

We'll be filling our unit with furnitures little by little. And for now, we're now on the process of canvassing for the best buy.  Hubby and i were so excited.

Thanks God for all the blessing and for the continuous guidance to all our decisions. Thank you so much.
