Our First Christmas Tree

Christmas is getting near. Everybody's excited for the holiday. As for our home, we got our first Christmas tree. I've chosen the slim one because it's space-saver, perfect for our simple crib.

Tadaaannn.. here's our gorgeous Christmas tree

Here's what it looks like before decorating... still bare

My kids, Klyne and Keilah was enjoying and goofing around while decorating our christmas tree.. See...

Decorating mode...

Finally, done decorating. Star on top. But still empty underneath. No gifts yet.

I love Christmas. It may not be as happy as before because hubby won't be around this but at least i have two adorable kids with me.

Happy Holidays!

Altar and Refrigerator

We now have an altar. It's been placed on top to guide and guard our home. "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord". I have it custom-made by a furniture maker.

We've chosen panasonic for our ref because it has the highest EEF rating among all refs we saw in the market. EEF is the abbreviation for Energy Efficiency Factor. Aside from high eef, it's also has a manual defrost system which is more like an energy saver than those no-frost refs.

High Energy Efficiency Factor means more SAVINGS on ELECTRIC BILLS!, With the rising cost of electricity. it's a good first step in keeping our electricity within our reach.

Furniture Purchased

After an endless canvassing i finally settled with these few furniture which is just perfect for our humble nest. They're all in super good deal.  I'm just so happy. This is it.

^ Sofa bed- found this one at SM. I grabbed the promo price of P5k.
Super good deal, right?

^ Wardrobe cabinet- i instantly want this wardrobe with a small dresser attached to it because
i've been previously looking for something like this. Glad to have found this one.

^ Dining set- this too, i have instantly liked because as you see its only a square table with cute designs.

^ but it can actually turn into a rectangle shape table. You just have to pull up both sides for more dining space. Cool huh!
^ Side table with lamp and magazine stand-  for our sala. I simply love it. So cute.

Others will be posted soon after being purchased.

Window Shopping: Dining Room Set

We need a rectangular 4-seater dining room set.

^ I saw this at Market, Market dept. store furniture section. I fell in love with this instantly. I love the colors. A combi of red and black.. Lovely! They're currently on 50% sale from Php28,599. Now it's only Php14,299.

and here's the full black of it...
My initial choice.. saw one in uniwide for only Php5,200

^ found this on the net. Love it.. I'm looking for one like this except that it should be a 4-seater.Php14000
^ Also this one.. simple but elegant looking dining set.

^ found this at furnituremanila.com/ stephanietrading. I like it. Though I am yet to inquire for the price

^ this too, i like it. I guess squared table can also fit in our dining room. Price: Php11,000
... of nemiefurniture folded dining table 4-seater Php15000

Window Shopping: Bed

When shopping for furnitures, there are only three things that i should always remember. It should be, 1) in a good quality 2) affordable (or cheap i should say) and lastly 3) space-saver. As i always say, we only have a small space and we're looking for things that is appropriate for our unit. Space-saving is on our top list when shopping.

We only need a double size bed to fit in our Bedroom.

My first choice of bed is to have a bed frame with drawers. Either on the side...

or on front

^ Saw this at Home Market in Market Market. I love it. And the price? Php16,995. That's for the bed frame alone, mattress not included yet.

As i go around, i asked for the price of customized-bed frame and they quoted me Php15,000. The lowest price they can give. I'm still in deep thought for this.

^ this is a double size bed with pull-outs which only costs Php9,641 at Blims Furniture. They're on sale. It's my second choice. Although I'm not sure if how we're able to fit the pull-outs in our bedroom :)
found this on sulit/ multiply..(nemiefurniture)  this is the one im looking for.. Price: Php8000. Not bad.
(nemiefurniture) 48" x 75" PhP 4,500.00
                       54" x 75" PhP 4,800.00
                       60" x 75" PhP 5,000.00

If you know any furniture shops that sells or customize beds in a very reasonable price, (Metro Manila only) please feel free to recommend. I would really appreciate that. Thank you
